The Finance Solutions group in Wipro Technologies is one of the fastest growing vertical in Wipro. The group focuses on delivering enhanced business value to the clients in banking, Insurance and capital markets by offering end-to-end strategic solutions through our integrated portfolio of services including application development, package implementation, business process outsourcing, infrastructure support and consulting.

With over 6500 consultants, the group is currently servicing more than 50 large clients across the globe. Our strong credentials are backed by our domain expertise and mature delivery models.

We are looking for senior candidates with 13-15 years of IT experience, with a minimum of 5-8 years of logical, physical database design, DB2 and operating system performance tuning and monitoring.

• Hands on experience in using Erwin tool.
• Understanding of Accord XML Standards, DB2 backup and recovery scenarios/ security management/data integrity.
• Should have provided consultation to customer in technology direction, validating technology solution and roadmap; participated in large deals in solution design, creating proof-of-concepts.
• Should have created best practices, standardized processes.
• Assisted in due diligence activities, supported pre-sales, contributed to estimation and technical solutions.
  

The role encompasses:

• Plan growth and changes (capacity planning) for account.
• Interface with IBM Corporation for DB2 technical support.
• Interact with customer for Data Model definition and setup Data Quality, Developer with Trillium experience.
• Provide thought leadership in various open systems technology areas by providing consulting to customers on their technology directions, validating their strategy, proposing/validating architecture for key solutions, create technology roadmap, propose best practices etc.
• Participate in account engagements to lead design / solution architecture initiatives.
• Nurture potential architects via mentoring programs.
• Participate in knowledge creation, framework development, driving proof of concept on new technology.
